Happy Birthday, Leah.

You’re the most wonderful person I know, and it’s a damn shame that more people don’t have access to a best friend like you. You’re probably the reason I’m still alive, and you’re definitely the reason that I have as much faith in humanity as I do. There are a lot of shitty things in the world, and there are a lot of reasons to be sad, but sometimes I have to stop myself and think “well, if there’s someone like Leah in the world, it can’t be too bad.” If I believe in one thing, it’s you.

I don’t know what I did to get so lucky, but I thank God for it every day. I hope you have an excellent day, dear.
